Welcome to Salem: The Vision Behind VideoVision

Hello, Salem! My name is Bruce Bradbury, and I’m the creator of VideoVision, a real estate media company dedicated to bringing stunning visual content to the heart of Oregon’s capital. As of November 1st, 2024, I’ll be officially relocating to the Willamette Valley, and I can’t wait to immerse myself in this vibrant community and start taking bookings.

But before we dive into the future, let me give you some background on how I got here.

From Hood River to the Willamette 🏞️: My Path to VideoVision

I’ve always been a visual storyteller. When I was 16, I chose a less traditional path for my education, attending the Randolph Technical Career Center for filmmaking. There, I had the privilege of learning under American Film Institute Alum Carlos Diaz, which gave me a truly hands-on approach to film production at a young age. Saying that it changed the trajectory of my life would be an understatement. That experience laid the groundwork for everything I’ve done since, instilling in me an appreciation for both the technical and creative sides of visual media.

Growing up in Hood River, I was constantly inspired by the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest—the perfect backdrop for honing my skills in videography. Being surrounded by the captivating stories and documentary projects in my community, as well as my personal love for studio-style cinema, shaped my creative tastes that can be seen my work today.

Real Estate Meets Media: Bridging Two Passions

After graduating from Portland State University with a degree in Film Production, my interest shifted toward real estate. I became a real estate agent and worked full-time for three years in the competitive Seattle market. My time as an agent gave me firsthand experience in understanding exactly what real estate professionals need from media: high-quality visuals that represent properties accurately, delivered on tight deadlines.

During those years, I didn’t just work as an agent—I also created listing media for myself and my colleagues. It was a side project then, but the more I did it, the more I realized this was my true calling. Eventually, I decided to take my media skills to the next level by working at Microsoft, where I helped manage corporate media projects. From producing multi-camera broadcasts to crafting polished video edits, I gained insight into high-stakes, professional media production.

The Move to Salem: Why Now?

You might be wondering—why Salem? Why now?

I’ve always felt drawn to Oregon. Hood River shaped me, and after my time in Seattle and at Microsoft, it feels like coming home to be in the Willamette Valley. I love the agricultural community, the wineries, and the natural beauty that surrounds the area. The people here have an appreciation for a nicer way of life, craftsmanship, and authenticity—values I deeply resonate with.

As a real estate media provider, I see enormous potential in Salem’s growing real estate market. My mission is to not only deliver stunning listing media but also elevate how properties are marketed. I want to make real estate listings in Salem look more luxurious and desirable, helping agents sell faster and for higher value.

What VideoVision Can Do for You

At VideoVision, my three pillars of service are simple: Client Care, Quality, and Timeliness.

  1. Client Care: As a former agent, I know how important it is to keep your clients happy. My job is to make your job easier by delivering media that showcases your listings in the best light, without adding extra stress.
  2. Quality: Every photo, video, and 3D tour I create is crafted to the highest standards. I use top-tier equipment like my Canon R5 and Insta360, ensuring each shot is crisp, detailed, and designed to attract potential buyers. My goal is to highlight a property’s best features while ensuring authenticity—no over-editing that misrepresents a space.
  3. Timeliness: Real estate moves fast, and so do I. I understand the pressure of deadlines—whether it’s getting photos for a last-minute listing or delivering content on a tight schedule. My commitment to timeliness ensures that you always have the media you need, when you need it.

Connecting With the Salem Community

Beyond just business, I’m genuinely excited to connect with the Salem community. Whether it’s attending local events, capturing the beauty of the area through my lens, or just exploring the local hiking trails and wineries, I want to contribute to the vibrancy of the Willamette Valley.

I’m also looking forward to working with local real estate agents, not just as a media provider but as a partner who can help enhance your marketing efforts. Whether it’s offering tips on running effective Facebook ads or helping you build your social media presence, I want to be a go-to resource for agents looking to stand out in the market.

Get to Know Me: Q&A

To wrap up this post, I wanted to include a quick Q&A to give you a more personal glimpse into who I am and what drives me.

Q: What inspired you to start VideoVision?
A: I’ve always had a creative eye and a passion for storytelling. After working as a real estate agent and producing media on the side, I realized I could combine my two passions—real estate and visual media—into something truly impactful. That’s how VideoVision was born.

Q: How do you balance creativity with the technical demands of real estate media?
A: It’s all about understanding the purpose behind the media. I want to make sure that each property shines, but I never lose sight of the fact that the goal is to sell. That’s why I focus on creating content that’s visually striking but also practical and accurate for real estate marketing.

Q: What excites you most about moving to Salem?
A: The community! I’ve always loved Oregon, and I’m looking forward to exploring everything the Willamette Valley has to offer. The natural beauty, the wineries, the people—it’s an inspiring place to live and work.
